2014 Jack W. Stanley Scholars Announced!

 

Congratulations to the following students for being selected as

Jack W. Stanley Scholars:

 

Kyle W. Garver, son of Tonya Curtis with Charter Communications in Hickory, NC. Kyle will attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he will study mechanical engineering.

Natalie M. Yarborough, daughter of Buck Yarborough with Time Warner Cable in Greensboro, NC. Natalie will attend Western Carolina University where her course of study will be Spanish.

Ebony Gaillard, daughter of Kevin Gaillard with Time Warner Cable in Charlotte, NC. Ebony will continue her biochemistry/pre-med studies this fall at Spelman College.

Sarah Bauer, daughter of John Bauer with Time Warner Cable in Greensboro, N.C. Sarah will study accounting at North Carolina State University.

Colby Waddell, son of Elaine Waddell with Time Warner Cable in Greensboro, NC. Cobly will attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall.

Thomas Styers, son of Frank Styers with Reds Cable TV in Bath, NC. Thomas will study electrical engineering at Clemson University.

Margaret Kramer, daughter of John Kramer with Time Warner Cable in Charlotte, NC. Margaret will attend North Carolina State University where she will study textile engineering.

Andrea Hardy, daughter of Matthew Hardy with Time Warner Cable in Troutman, NC. Andrea will attend Queens University in Charlotte.

The NCCTA Partners Award recognizes member cable systems that have developed successful partnership programs in their communities that offer long-term benefit to the partners, the community, and the North Carolina cable telecommunications industry. The Partners Award  represents and recognizes that cable's contributions to their subscribers and their communities are ever evolving and expanding in response to the needs of the cities and towns they serve.
